The SAR Platform℠ is an effective data analytics platform designed to identify and monitor Adverse Corporate Events based on corporate disclosures disseminated by issuers that trade on the NASDAQ or NYSE.
SAR captures and tracks corporate disclosures from public companies and relies on on-going, firm-specific event study analyses to identify and categorize Adverse Corporate Events to more effectively quantify securities litigation risk of U.S. and non-U.S. issuers. Adverse Corporate Events are categorized according to the timing and mechanism of corporate disclosure applied by the issuer to ensure uniform and objective selection and classification standards.
SAR assigns a SAR Risk Score℠ to every U.S. and Non-U.S. issuer according to the magnitude of market capitalization losses on Adverse Corporate Events.
The SAR Platform℠ presents securities litigation risk data analytics in multi-modal formats to satisfy efficient, cloud-based workflow integration across different insurance and corporate functions, including: underwriting, insurance and reinsurance actuarial sciences, executive risk advisory, and specialized research for U.S. equity investment professionals. SAR data is presented visually via the SAR Risk Dashboard, with instant download functionality to Microsoft Excel, and via API for periodic and stable actuarial modeling.
SAR's ACE Database℠ is industry-leading with analytical transparency into individual corporate disclosures and stock price reaction that accounts for performance in the general equity markets and the corresponding issuer’s industry to more effectively identify and monitor Adverse Corporate Events that exhibit statistically significant residual returns during close-to-close event windows. The company-specific securities litigation risk dashboards deliver analytical transparency into the embedded securities litigation risk of issuers during the preceding two years from the user-defined evaluation date(s). SAR data analytics also include prospective estimated market capitalization loss impact based on historical stock price performance of Adverse Corporate Events for any issuer trading on the NYSE or NASDAQ. At this time, SAR does not rely on any Machine Learning (ML) or Artificial Intelligence (AI) to mitigate analytical biases that may inhibit our mission to deliver independent and high quality public company risk management data analytics solutions.
